A Triage system is in place in the morning clinics. If you need to speak or see a GP on the day, you will be telephoned back in the morning by a GP who will assess and make a decision on further management ie GP clinic appointment, prescription or home visit.

Triage Email

Currently if you feel you need to see a doctor urgently, on that day, you call in the morning and then one of the doctors will call you to discuss the problem and make an appointment on that day if necessary.

It can be difficult to get through in the morning as the phone lines are busy.

There is now an option to email us so that the Triage doctor will read the email between 8am and 10am that day (or the next day if you send the email after 10am). The doctor will then call you back to discuss the problem and book an appointment if necessary, just as if you had called us first. Please provide the best contact number for yourself and current mobile number.  Please keep your phone free between 8-10am. If you haven't heard from us by 1030 please call us.

If your problem is an emergency PLEASE CALL US or an out of hours service if out of hours.

Please do not email if you need to talk to someone.

The Urgent Triage Email address is: broccg.ballatertriage@nhs.net

If you require a prescription please sign up for Patient Access.
