Being Safer Online

Just a reminder that we are back at Orpington Methodist Church, Sevenoaks Road, BR6 9JH) every Monday from 13th January 2pm – 4pm.

Come along with your questions about your laptop, tablet or mobile phone and use the space to practice. This is your time to get better!

We also have

  • additional support to help you with the NHS App & MyChart
  • bookable times to help you complete online applications such are Blue Badge, Universal Credit and Council forms via our Online Services Support
  • access to loan and donated devices
  • free sims and data for those in need
  • friendly advice
  • free tea and coffee

Being Safer Online

OurBeing Safer Online workshops provide practical tips and hands on-activities to help build the foundations for interacting with the internet safely.

Over 3 different workshops we cover:

  • Fundamental of passwords
  • Understanding cookies and privacy
  • Being safe on WhatsApp

You will also be able to connect to other support and services via our wonderful partners the Orpington Rotary club . FREE COFFEE & CAKES!

FDigital Awareness Online Programme

Our Digital Awareness Online Programme is designed to give group support to people wanting to develop their digital skills, feel safer online and have fun.

It takes place on Zoom every Tuesday 11.00-12.15.

We share activities and demonstrations to help our students become more confident using the internet and their smartphones, tablets or computers.

Absolute beginners are welcome and no question is too basic.
